New Study Reveals Shocking Information You May Not Know About Masturbation

A new study has made shocking revelations about masturbation many people do not even know about. What better time to start a new chapter of your healthy life push? As well as diet, exercise and cutting down the drinking, you could add a spot of ‘me time’ to your daily routine.

A study published in European Urology has confirmed a link between men ejaculating regularly and a reduced risk of prostate cancer. Researchers tracked 30,000 men for almost 20 years to come up with their results.

It isn’t the first time this link has been made, but it makes the case even more strongly than before, Pink News reports. So don’t listen to the people who say masturbation is ‘self-abuse’.

The scientists found that men in their 20s who ejaculated at least 21 times a month were 19 per cent less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who did seven times a month or less.

You don’t have to masturbate: having sex with a partner would do the job too, as long as you climax. Men in their forties who threw a regular one man party were 22 per cent less likely to be diagnosed.

The study’s lead author Jennifer Rider told AP:
‘Ejaculation frequency is, to some extent, a measure of overall health status in that men at the very low end of ejaculation – 0 to 3 times per month – were more likely to have other (medical problems) and die prematurely from causes other than prostate cancer.
‘She said their data suggests ‘ejaculation and safe sexual activity throughout adulthood could be a beneficial strategy for reducing the risk of prostate cancer.’
