okodoro oro...LASU Sacks 13 Staff For Stealing, Falsifying WAEC Results

The Lagos State University (LASU), has dismissed 13 of its staff for using fake West African Examination Council, (WAEC), results to gain employment into the school and for stealing.
The university dismissed the 13 members of the staff in the junior cadre, following reports from the Junior Staff Disciplinary Committee.
In the official bulletin of the institution, it was stated that the decision was taken by the Governing Council at its 112th Statutory Meeting.
Reports also noted that the council approved the recommendation ‎of the disciplinary committee to dismiss the 13 staff out of the 14 staff members presented by the disciplinary committee for necessary action.
It reads, “Council at its 112th statutory meeting received and considered Paper No. 10/GC/16/068 on the Report of Junior Staff Disciplinary Committee on allegations leveled against some members of staff.
“It, after deliberations, approved the recommendation of the Junior Staff Disciplinary Committee on the affected members of staff,’’ it said.
The names of the dismissed staff were released by the LASU Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, CIPPR after the management of the school approved the dismissal of the staff.
Nine of the staff were sacked for falsification of their WAEC results used in getting employment into the institution. They are, Jatto Matthew Folorunsho (falsify May/June 1982 WAEC result), Mrs. Iheuko Stella (falsify May/June1994 WAEC result), John Michael Afolabi (falsify May/June 1985 WAEC result), Mr. Tiamiyu Hassan Abayomi (Falsification of May/June 1997 WAEC Result).
Also, Mr. Hundeyin Julius Abiodun (Falsification of May/June 1997 WAEC result), Mr. Kamoru Hassan Kehinde (Irregularities in November/December 1995 and 1999 WAEC Ordinary Level Results), Mr. Ofomadu Nnajike E. (Falsification of May/June 2004 WAEC result), Mr. Adewusi Adedapo (Falsification of May/June 1994 & May/June 1995 WAEC results) and Miss Emeza Funmilayo Orezime (Falsification of November/December 2008 WAEC result)
One of the staff, Samuel Ogunwale was dismissed for fraudulently collecting of N123,950 from a student while two other junior staff, Olatunji Olasunkanmi and Okunsanya Olashile were dismissed for stealing 200 litres of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) each. Another staff, Matti Jemilat Adebisi was dismissed for abandonment of duty.
